Pirates

This spring Jacob is on the Pirates at NWLL.  They played their second game last night and did quite well scoring 11 runs (first two games of the year are technically scrimmages due to the China Virus layoff over the last year).  The Blue Jays starting pitcher threw as hard as anyone they will see all year, very impressive.  Jacob took a hard fastball straight to the helmet but it didn't even phase him.  Batting in third position he scored three runs and even got to play first base for an inning.

They are playing at the Balcones Little League fields until the City of Austin will let the kids back on NWLL fields.  Sounds like that may take place right after Spring Break when the season begins in earnest.
