Summer 2021 - Driving
We did a lot of driving again over the summer including a couple trips to MN, one of which included a trip to the Black Hills. On a long day of driving (1,200 miles), we saw the Big Texan in Amarillo but will have to make another trip to actually experience it.

Summer 2021 - Needles Highway
We made the trek up to the Needles Highway in Custer State Park. It didn't take long to decide that we needed to make the trip again in the future and maybe go camping.

Summer 2021 - Log Splitter
The 2 foot+ logs had been sitting beside the garage for 6 years since we dumped them (See Here).....
....and we split them all. Then, we moved on to splitting some oak.
It was time for a team picture with our new favorite rental machine!
We split a lot of pine and will be set for fires for the foreseeable future.

There was putt-putt golf in Rapid City, SD, in the midst of a thunderstorm.

Summer 2021 - Cosmos
Up near Mt. Rushmore we stopped by Cosmos and fascination ensued.
We learned that the ground was level and had some great demonstrations (and jokes)....
....and then things got weird and confusion reigned!
