Happy Valentines Day!

Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Helmers for my first valentine.  Mom really liked her tulips but I liked the card!

Lets Play a little ball...

Thank you Aunt Lisa and (soon to be) Uncle Randall for
the solar sytem ball from your trip to the McDonald Observatory in
Fort Stockton (waayy West) Texas.   I love the texture of it...
great for teething.

Snow Day!

So mom feels a little silly posting this entry when its 65 degrees
outside.  Oh well..she gets to the blog when she can.
Mom can count on two hands (only) the number of times
she has seen snow at home in Texas  Daddy on the other hand, being a
snow veteran probably thought I was overdressed.

Great Grandpa Reeder is 'King of Cool' in the Fayette County Record

The La Grange newspaper did a story on Great Grandpa Reeder.
The article recalled his days:  Courting and marrying Great Grandma Reeder and
having their only son, Kenneth Wayne, serving in the Air Force, Owning
Reeder's airconditioning and experiencing a 'guardian angel' moment at the courthouse
while installing an a/c system, designing the local bowling lanes and
serving as president of the Texas Ten-Pin Bowling Association...
and so much more.
Congratulations Grandpa Reeder on being a local celebrity!

Where has daddy been?

Apparently he's been hanging around up here quite a bit. I don't know why because it sure is messy. I'll have to get to the bottom of this.

Homemade Baby Food...Yummm

Mom's first attempt at homemade baby food...some for the
refrigerator and freezer.  She spent the morning peeling, boiling,
cutting and pureeing...mangoes, sweet potatoes, pears, squash and chicken.
She actually had a lot fun.

I'm a big fan of chicken, sweet potatoes and squash!
Grandma Helmers, the bibs you gave me for Christmas have
been perfect.  Thank you.

Grandpa Reeder stopped by to keep me company after lunch.
