Between vacation and Crenshaw's Camp, we had a gap to fill.  For about a week the boys spent time with Grandma Reeder....

MN Trip - Miscellany

We played a fair amount of Corn Hole and see more of this in the future.....

.....the battle lines were drawn.....

.....the water was the coldest we ever remember in May....

.....this guy was ready for some fishing....

....and this guy joined Dad for an early breakfast back in Minneapolis.

MN Trip - The Projects

This trip saw a number of different little projects to tackle including understanding this cool little remote.....

....some spring burning.....

.....painting the siding where the door was removed.....

.....that solenoid on the John Deere had seen a lot of years of work.....

....and this guy which has seen even more years of service saw new life!

MN Trip - Emmaville

We took a nice drive while on vacation and thought we'd stop for lunch in Emmaville.  We think that Jacob had other plans though on this day.  

We got our seats and after Lori stepped away to the restroom, our nice waitress came to ask us what we would like to drink.  Noah was first up to order and after he quickly glanced at his Mom's empty seat he said, "I'll have a Pepsi".  Jacob was still in a funk so he got milk and the waitress also pointed to the sign below and hung the threat of washing dishes, wrapping up silverware, etc, over Jacob's head if he didn't cheer up.

Jacob....you were one tough customer that day but, when it was all said and done, you didn't have to wash dishes!

MN Trip - Emmaville

Happy Birthday!  It's the big number 7 for you today.  Until real camp starts in the next week, it will be a day of Camp Daddy which means an afternoon at the pool, your choice where to eat tonight, presents, cake, etc!

MN Trip - Water Balloons

Roughly 100 to be exact, providing hours of fun.....

MN Trip - The Fish

Grandpa led you guys on some good fishing excursions.  The first trip saw a lot of Sunfish, Perch, and Crappies

Noah got serious on the next outing and brought home this 17" Bass.  On the next trip....

....and not to be outdone, Jacob got himself a Northern the very next day!
