Bull Creek

Monday morning was the ideal time to take a trip to Bull Creek with no people and no dogs so we had the whole place to ourselves.  Everyone got a good workout walking around.

Noah got to toss some rocks into the creek.

He also found some time to horse around with Grandpa.

County Line BBQ

Saturday included a trip to County Line BBQ for some brisket, ribs and sausage with Grandpa and Grandma Helmers.  With the weather nearly perfect, we took the opportunity to spend some time down by the lake after dinner and, even though he was a little sick over the weekend, Noah had a great time.

Easter Egg Hunt - Part V

Noah took to the easter egg hunt like a fish to water. 

He's gotten pretty quick at a young age.....the cupcake and rice krispie treats may have aided him in his pursuit of the eggs.

Then he got the chance to make some bubbles which may have been the highlight of his day.

He was pretty pooped by the end of the day and slept quite soundly on the drive home.  All-in-all.....a very good week.

Easter Bunny - Part IV

Well, Noah didn't take to the Easter Bunny very well.  We made a couple attempts at getting him to take a picture with the loveable fuzz-ball but Noah didn't warm up to the bunny this year.  Reminds us of our less than smiling son on the lap of Santa back at Christmas Time. Tune it tomorrow to see how the rest of his day went.

Easter Basket - Part III

Noah loved his Easter basket.  He was so excited to get at the chocolate that he didn't even bother to take the foil off before eating it.

Easter - Part II

On Saturday we made a trip to the Easter egg hunt at church.  Although we got there just a little late....we had a great time with Rachel and Kate.  When Noah finds a nice field of grass this large....he consumes a lot of his virtually endless supply of energy. He was trying to figure out the egg roll in this picture.

It's Easter All Week Long This Week - Part I

With the beneficial rains and mild temperatures this spring....the wild flowers are back after a year away.  Every kid gets the proverbial Blue Bonnet picture in Central Texas sooner or later.  Noah just happens to be a bit cuter than all the other kids...even if we do say so ourselves!!!

In some very strange way, he likes these two foods equally.  Not sure exactly which would be better for dessert.

We are still working on the concept of sharing but Noah didn't hesitate to share his graham cracker with a horse in Fredericksburg.
