The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

 

 

The GOOD must have been his overall day and seeing the pony.  The BAD must have been that he did not take a morning nap (although contradicted in the notes below but confirmed by his teacher).  As for the UGLY, that must have been related to the comment listed as "Blowout, changed clothes".  At least that incident didn't happen under our watch :)

Just Hanging Around

 

It's the beginning of the road for Jacob with the swing in the back yard and at the park.  Because Noah has grown so quickly, for him this may signify......

 

 

 

Transportation

 

You are looking at Noah's new wall in his bedroom.  Transportation seems to be a common theme across both the bedrooms that he has occupied. If some day Noah packs up, moves to the Klondike, and begins gold mining at Indian River, we have no one to blame but ourselves!

Suppose you can't do much better than this.  Maybe he is beginning to get the hang of having his picture taken? Still hard to believe that Noah and Matthew (2nd Row, third from the left) are the two youngest in the class.  Noah has a great set of teachers and we can see their influence almost daily in his development.   

Jacob's Class Picture

 

His first class picture.  Jacob likes attention so this picture is quite fitting.  He has a great set of teachers looking after him at school....he is one lucky little guy.  Most recently he is now taking formula, eating Cheerios, and devouring any morsel of food within an 18 inch radius of his body.

Sledding

Noah encountered another first on his trip to Lincoln, he go the opportunity to ride a sled (or saucer). Dad got the sled going fast enough just once to dump Noah off and into a snow bank.

The Snowman

On our trip to Lincoln last week, Noah got the opportunity to help build his first snowman.  He loved the snow and it was difficult to drag him back into the house.  The weather warmed fairly quickly while we were there so we were happy we had the chance to do this. 

On the Road Again

 

We hit the road for the long trip back to Austin on Monday afternoon.  As you can see, Noah has learned how to travel in style and can sleep in this position for long periods of time.  He took an epic two hour nap as we left Lincoln while Jacob contributed an hour and a half nap.  It was very quiet in the car during these naps as we hoped to make it to OKC before anyone awoke.  That didn't happen.
