A lot of tennis going on and we all enjoy it. Noah and his mother are pretty evenly matched but that is changing and we can put together quite a doubles match.

Since we were at the Quarries for Noah's last tennis match (W 4-2), we decided to make an evening of it. With Mom off to a Board meeting at the building across campus, we got some pizza and enjoyed the varsity baseball game. A nice evening.

End of school must be right around the corner. Noah started the week with a tennis match on Monday against Regents. Following he and Baker's win against Hill Country last week, this time they were matched against Regents. Not only did they have to play Regents (biggest name in the city), Regents didn't have any 5th/6th grade players available so they got to play 7th graders. When it was all said and done, the boys beat Regents, 4-2. Jacob followed with three baseball games for the week against the Blue Jays, Athletics and Balcones. They beat the Blue Jays 13-7 on Tuesday and the Athletics 11-5 last night. Balcones game is tomorrow AM and there seems to be some discussion that Jacob may do a little pitching. Noah's deep into the year end band ensemble with practices all week long, Battle of the Bots, and a US geography final. Swimming pool opens on Sunday so it will be time to relax.
