Happy Birthday Noah

You had a great time at the jumpoline park with all your friends over the weekend.  Cake, presents, decorations, friends, etc.  We can't determine whether you are more proud of being five years old or the fact that you are off to Kindergarten next month. Either way, slow down a little bit, it's all happening a bit too quickly. Happy Birthday!

Sharp Dressed Man

Noah, you did a wonderful job as the ring bearer this weekend at Kristin and Barry's wedding.  While there may have been a little apprehension before this past weekend, you did everything that could have been asked of you and did very well.  You are turning into a young man already and you got more compliments than Mommy or Daddy could count on all of our fingers and toes combined. You looked sharp in your tuxedo. Considering this is one of our favorite pictures from the weekend, a few modifications had to be made.  Someone just so happened to make their way into this picture but with a fair amount of editing, it is as if they were almost never there in the first place!

Young Jedi

Almost 40 years later and Star Wars still resonates with the world.  Noah's buddy Levi had a birthday party last week with the Star Wars theme.  They dressed as Jedi's, practiced their skills, and met Darth Vader and Obi-Wan.  Noah proudly wore his attire all weekend.  Jacob got into the act as well, but that's for tomorrow.

Jacob turned three years old on Sunday.  We've seen him progress an extraordinary amount in the last six months.  He's holds his own with Noah, brings a smile to his Sunday School teachers each week, loves Mickey Mouse and Fireman Sam, goes a mile a minute, can play by himself for hours, loves the tree house, and sleeps like a champion.  We can't wait to see what year four brings.  Noah picked out Jacob's birthday cake & frosting.  The frosting looks a lot like the cupcakes they devoured on Saturday (more on that later).
