Yes.....5:17 AM.  That was when the pitter patter of young feet were heard on the hardwood floor on Saturday morning.  In isolation this is manageable; however, for at least the last week to ten days, this has been the norm.  Sunday morning did bring some relief....he didn't decide to get up until 5:26. 

Apparently, everything is cyclical.

We have had the school desk waiting in the garage to go into Noah's room for quite some time.  He now has a place to draw and practice his hand writing and we have a few more precious square feet in the garage.  Win-win.

Coming of Age

Five years old turns out to be a good age for this rite of passage, riding the two man raft behind the boat.  Uncle Curt helped out driving the boat for Noah's ceremonial first ride. Noah ultimately got the full experience as he and Daddy were riding and once Daddy got thrown off, Noah never stood a chance and flew into the lake.  Although a little apprehensive after crashing, it took no time for him to get back on the horse.  Perhaps his favorite part of adventure was getting thrown off the boat and into the water by both Daddy and Uncle Curt while were doing some swimming in the middle of the lake.  Mommy got into the action too as we will see in tomorrow's update.

Kindergarten begins today.  Noah has moved from the CDC to elementary school.  Khaki's and collared shirts...those are the rules. He was very excited and has three kids from class last year joining him.

It was Jacob's first day of school and he is now in the 3's class at Hyde Park.  He was hamming it up as usual this morning.   Noah will start school tomorrow.

New Job

Jacob got a new job on the flight to Minneapolis.  He made friends with the flight attendant and was helping out cleaning the cabin just before landing and saying our goodbyes.
