Jacob's team, the Pirates, are finally back at NWLL after the long China-Virus layoff. They had a win on Monday 17-2 and lost 11-6 on Thursday. The Pirates didn't throw their best pitcher in the loss which is still a bit puzzling but, in that game, we saw Jacob catch both a fly-ball in the outfield (first inning) and another one at eye-level at short stop (third inning). This was on top of catching a fly-ball in the outfield on Monday evening and throwing a couple kids out at third from short stop. With a hit in each game, Jacob has had quite a week considering he is playing with 8-10 year olds. Jacob's buddy Wyatt even got to pitch this week which was another absolute treat to watch.
