Christmas Present - The Piggy Bank

The Piggy Bank brought a big smile to Noah's face as he proudly carried it about the room!  Perhaps it brought an even bigger smile to his father's face as he mumbled something about future lessons in economics. The topic is sure to be revisited down the road.

Battle Royale

The camera in the new Blackberry couldn't keep up with Noah before bedtime on this particular evening.  Perhaps that was because he was in the midst of an epic pillow battle complete with Mom, Dad, and Grandpa and Grandma Helmers. To say he was excited would be an understatement.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Noah's first class picture from the Hyde Park Baptist Child Development Center, complete with his artwork as the frame.

He looks a lot older than he did last year in his Santa cap.

Day Trip to Fredericksburg

We took the opportunity to take a little hike and get the lay of the land. Noah enjoyed all the rocks and exploring all on his own.

He sure looked small hiking up the road.

Noah had the best day as not only his Mom was there with him for this photo, but he had both of his grandfathers.  After some relaxation and a great meal, we headed back to Austin.

More on the B-Day Party

Noah didn't quite know what he was getting himself into on the way to the party.

It didn't take long to see the enjoyment though.

We got him to slow down just enough to stop for a picture.

He was then off again to play.

Isabelle's Birthday Party

At Isabelle's birthday party this weekend full of bouncy houses, Noah seemed to enjoy the pit full of foam squares the most!

With Mom traveling.....

.....it's just Noah and Dad for most of the week.  Since we are currently experiencing our lowest temps since early in the year, Noah is learning to make Chili.

Where's Noah?

Valentinos

Over Thanksgiving we had the opportunity to go have dinner at Valentinos in Lincoln.  The same restaurant that Dad and Uncle Curt both cooked pizzas at over 20 years ago.  Everyone had the Grand Italian buffett and needless to say, Noah didn't walk away hungry.

The Park

It was a little cold on Thanksgiving morning......

.....but Noah enjoyed his time at the park nonetheless.

Aunt Susan was even able to capture this smile on film, well....maybe it wasn't actually film but you get the picture.

We think he's had a runny nose for the last four months but it seems to be getting better, albeit slowly.

Good picture.....

......to put right over the mantle.  Then again, maybe not.  That may have been his best smile all day though!

Noah in action!  Not quite 8 seconds but he's got time to learn.

The Hat

Sometimes it is the little things that bring a smile to his face.

Once he got his hands on the ball cap, he became a whole different person.

When it was all said and done, he spent at least an hour circling the yard.

The Lost Halloween

Noah was all set to be a lion for Halloween this year.....

.....but he was sick all week and didn't get to enjoy the animal parade at school.  Hopefully next year we will have better luck.

Pillow Fight!

It usually starts off innocently enough.

The pillows come off the bed as Noah continues to ask for more and more pillows

Then Noah finds himself knee-deep in a playful pillow fight.

Needless to say, this might be his most enjoyable time of the day.  He has learned to go straight for the pillows right after bath time and before a goodnight story.

Two Sides to Bedtime

So it was bath time and everything was going just fine.....

....including a little play time before bed.

Noah even 'hammed it up' for the camera.

He posed for a pretty nice picture.

Then when it came to putting the PJ's on....he pitched a fit.  Go figure.

Noah - 15 Months

Sunday Afternoon

Noah was in rare form on Sunday afternoon just hanging out in the back yard....just as happy as a little boy can be.

Mom even found a nice pillow and got to relax.

So happy....little did we know that he had already contacted the Coxsackie virus and his mood would soon take a turn for the worse.

The Great Outdoors

On the trip to Fredericksburg last weekend, Noah got to enoy the great outdoors in near perfect weather.

He helped dad with some tree trimming and the grounds cleaned up quite nicely.

He was so excited with the tree trimming that he thought we should just take down an entire tree!

When his wish didn't materialize, he simply wondered to himself where everybody went!

Fredericksburg Trip

The weekend included a trip to Fredericksburg to see Grandpa and Grandma Reeder. 

Lots of work goes into 'Noah-Proofing' a room.

Next trip, Noah will have a swing just like at home.

Interestingly enough....he looked the part in Fredericksburg.
