Drop-off and Pickup
Since every child has to be dropped off and picked up with parents in the car, we see a lot of tail lights these day. We are thankful; however, that the kids are back at school and will continue to carve out a little more time each day.

School Supplies
With Noah staying over night at a friend's house the other week, it was a good time to get going early on Saturday to get school supplies. The promise of donuts just improved our experience. The color red seems to be Jacob's favorite right now.

Windows
Out with the old windows and in with the new. We are ready for winter in Texas, if that truly exists. We are seeing houses being razed almost monthly around here anymore and they have been renovating Pat's old house across the street for almost a year now.

Pathfinder
A well deserved rest for the Pathfinder after a summer that saw three trips to the cabin in MN totaling about 9,000 miles. We had overnight stays at various places in Witchita (KS), Oklahoma City (OK), Sioux City (IA), and Sioux Falls (SD). Thank goodness for movies in the car, fast food, and rest stops.

The Hot Dog machine was a huge hit and the boys headed off to school with hot dogs in their lunches too. Surely there will be some envious classmates come lunch today.

Back To School
This was the start of Back-To-School for the 2020-2021 school year. The first week of school in MN, the second and third week at home, and perhaps they will even be back in-person!
