The Bean Counter

No, not Daddy, this time it's Noah.  Every Friday is show and share for Noah at school.  This week happens to mark 100 days of Pre-K class so they were to bring in 100 of something to class. While there were many ideas, beans won out over the other ideas and that is how Noah first became a bean counter, in a literal sense.  Red Kidney beans...just for the record.

Trip to Zoo

Monday was a holiday for Mom so she got Noah, Jacob and Grandma Reeder and went to the Zoo. Jacob's favorite animal was the tiger and Noah agreed.

Final Present

With all the traveling and bad weather over the Christmas holiday, we decided to wait for one final present.  Noah got his new bike last weekend and loved it.  We took him out for a couple rides and there will be many more to come.

Application for Kindergarten

Today we submitted our application for Noah to enter Kindergarten next fall at Hyde Park.  As part of the process, inclusion of a recent photo was an optional activity.  Doesn’t seem like much is truly ‘optional’ in our household so we quickly found a picture.  How could they possibly deny that mug from entering Kindergarten? Really, we find it downright incomprehensible.  For the record, we are not too concerned.  But, really, how could this even be in question based on that picture?  Yes, perhaps there is an element of bias but, really, is there even a shadow of doubt???

Carnival Rides

On the afternoon of New Year's Eve, we ventured to the Hyatt Lost Pines to see some friends and have some fun.  They had a couple other rides including a big ferris wheel.  The kids loved it but it was cold outside.  Dad liked the ride in the background but Mom didn't enjoy the ferris wheel.
