As of July 24, 2011......

....there have been 40 days of 100+ degree weather.  What else is a young boy to do?  Well.....go to the swimming pool!!!

Donuts.......

They are a magical food.

When you don't have one, it can be, well..... frustrating.

You might even say that they are absolutely mesmerizing. 

Noah did manage to get his hands on more than a couple donut holes........it's safe to say he REALLY likes donuts.

Another trip to Houston.....

He's pretty proud......

....of his new-found walking skills.  Somehow he's figured out how to open the door to his room all on his own......the challenges for his parents continue.  If you look closely, you can see how well his teeth are now coming in too.

Home Improvement

The Non-Birthday present has been modified to include windows and a pair of doors.  Complete with a pillow and some toys inside.......he has his own refuge.  All he needs is crown molding and a ceiling fan in his new place.  Now, we may have to check to ensure he doesn't have any food squirreled away in there.

The Tale of the Tape

Noah had his one year checkup at the doctor last Friday morning.  At just over one year, Noah weighed in at 25 pounds (65th percentile) and measured 31 inches, which put him in the 80th percentile.  He had four more vaccinations and won't have any more for another three months.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming......

....to bring you this important update.  He seems to have learned this all within about a two week time period. It's been a big couple weeks for him.

There were a lot of people lined up just outside our house.....

Noah had a super sized patriotic cupcake for his birthday.

As Happy Birthday was sung, Noah turned a little shy.....

Ballons were a big hit.

After the party, we headed to the swimming pool to cool off.  Noah just loves the water.
