Dance Moves
Jacob came home the other day demonstrating his new dance steps. No, not the Floss dance or any end zone celebration......he came home doing the Sprinkler dance. Forget the Fortnite craze, Jacob apparently harkens back to the golden age of disco.

Civics and Pumpkins
One of the Saturday activities included selecting pumpkins and practicing civic duties. The boys now need to start illustrating what these pumpkins will transform into and finalize what their pinewood derby cars are going to look like.

Jacob's New Bible
It was a couple weeks ago and they had the presentation of bibles to all the first grade kids, some 20-25 in all. Jacob was all smiles as he got his new bible.

Doss Elementary
Memo to Noah & Jacob......You are spending the year over at Lucy Read school this year now that Doss is shut down for reconstruction. They have released renderings of the new school that is scheduled to open in August of 2020. Your parents are skeptical of the timeline but you showed us this picture at Lucy Read the other day before parent/teacher conferences. We will revisit at a later date and you have made it known that you would like demolition of the existing school to happen by TNT vs wrecking ball.

Gone Fishing....Again
The other week we got up early on Saturday morning and headed over to the Quarries for a little fishing. Another warm and humid morning and we caught nothing......
