Battle of the Bots is one of the favorite activities of the year for the fifth graders. They build a paper mache animal that sits on a piece of wood which has four screws drilled into the base. The bots have a motor with a fan on the back that makes them move.
They battle it out on a section of wood and the last bot standing on the wood (didn't make it to the carpet) wins the round.
It was a penguin for Noah and he made it to the third round!
