It appeared on Google that the trip up I-35 or I-29 would take about the same amount of time. Guess Nelson Brothers was the clincher for us.

I-35 vs I-29
It appeared on Google that the trip up I-35 or I-29 would take about the same amount of time. Guess Nelson Brothers was the clincher for us.
Summer Begins
Well, school got out a week earlier than scheduled so with Mom/Dad still working remotely, we decided to hit the road to Minnesota.
The trip ran right up I-35 and before we knew it we were in Kansas City after a stay in OKC.
Jacob knows how to travel!

Covid #27 - Pretzels
Now that the entire city of Austin has stopped hoarding all the bread flour, we finally got down to making pretzels in the bread maker. They were OK (pretty much gone by the next day), but we have grand plans for our next version with a new recipe/process.

Covid #26 - Easter
How could we forget about Easter? The kids got Easter baskets and church was via television. Texas is opening back up for business and we don't think it will be long before we can go back to church!

Covid #25 - In-N-Out Burger
After a long mountain bike ride the other week, complete with hail, lightning, thunder and a downpour all while we huddled under a tree in the middle of a pine forest, we needed a hamburger. We heard about this sometime back but thought it may have been urban legend; however, we found the verse on the bottom of the cups! All the more reason for cheeseburgers, fries and milkshakes!
