Camp Mabry

It was off to the Scout camp out the other week at Camp Mabry.  Just so happened to coincide with the annual WW1 reenactment.  Pretty cool.

We Got You Covered

Noah got the opportunity to build a tool box at scouts the other week.  Sanding, using a hammer/nails, following a set of instructions, etc.  He was quite pleased with the final product.  Now all we need are some hand tools to finish the job.  Noah.....We got you covered in that department!!!

Resourceful

No power in a few rooms the other night as Dad was changing lights in the house.  Noah was found a little while later wearing his 'night vision' glasses that he got for Christmas last year.

The Nut House

Noah and Jacob find great names for our various pursuits.  This one has garnered two different names, the Crystal House (because of all the different stones they found) and now the Nut House (because of all the pecans we picked up the other day).

Not Afraid of Heights

At Mila's birthday party the other weekend, Jacob demonstrated that he has no fear of heights so far!

Carving Pumpkins

It was all systems go for Halloween.  The boys did their own drafts of what their Jack-o-Lanterns were going to look like and we brought them to life.

Dad handled the knife and the boys did the heavy lifting (cleaning out the inside).

Big Mac Attack

While Jacob and Mom were at a birthday party last weekend, Dad and Noah took the opportunity to clean up the car and get a Big Mac.  Two thumbs up from Noah and he finished the whole thing.
