Touch A Truck

It was off to Touch A Truck last weekend where the kids got to see trucks, planes, heavy equipment, etc, all up close.  They got to sit in the seats, climb on the equipment, and have a good time.  Noah's favorite was the Mini-Excavator.

Little Eel

Jacob has made huge progress this go-around in swimming lessons as has become completely comfortable in the water.  He loves jumping into the pool now, follows directions really well and is mastering all the basics!

Down for the Count

It's been a rough couple weeks for Jacob.  He just hasn't been himself and seemed to be getting better and then was sick again.  He slowed down greatly this weekend, got the day off of school yesterday, and now gets to visit the doctor again today.  He does appear fairly well relaxed in this picture though!

Post 1,000....Happy Mother's Day!!!

This marks post 1,000 to the Tales of Noah & Jacob blog.  It all started on October 11, 2010, and five and a half years later, here we are on Mother's Day 2016.  Jacob was not feeling well so we had to make an early exit from Church. Perhaps not our most exciting Mother's Day but we will more appropriately celebrate it jointly on Father's Day.

Field Trip

Noah's class made the trek to San Antonio for a trip to the zoo last week.  Mom made the trip with him and the class.  Their favorite animals were the Bear (pictured here) and the leopard.

Swimming

Noah is in the Guppy class at the YMCA for swimming lessons.  He will finish at the end of the month.  Looks like he will be ready for the big slide at the outdoor pool this summer as they have him to the point of swimming entire lengths of the pool.  We'll check in on Jacob next week.

Big Fun

On the trip to Fredericksburg, the boys got to play in the river.  When give the option of a swimming pool versus a river, we think the boys will pick the river almost every time.  Big fun from simple things.

Whataburger

With Mom at a baby shower on Saturday, it was off to Whataburger for some lunch in Fredericksburg.  Noah had the appetite of a bear and Jacob was so tired after swimming that he barely ate.  Subsequently, he took a 2 1/2 hr nap which is highly unusual but very good.  As for the picture here.....not so good.
