While Mom was traveling last week for work, we stopped in for some pizza at one of our favorites.  Sausage and bacon was their pizza of choice.

Jacob's Marker

For some reason, first graders are sent home with a marker each day with a color that corresponds to how well they did that day at school.  We thought this ended at age four but apparently not.  Jacob didn't get the color he wanted the other day and created his own.  Perhaps they are encouraging critical thinking skills.

Camp Mabry

It was off to the Scout camp out the other week at Camp Mabry.  Just so happened to coincide with the annual WW1 reenactment.  Pretty cool.

We Got You Covered

Noah got the opportunity to build a tool box at scouts the other week.  Sanding, using a hammer/nails, following a set of instructions, etc.  He was quite pleased with the final product.  Now all we need are some hand tools to finish the job.  Noah.....We got you covered in that department!!!

Resourceful

No power in a few rooms the other night as Dad was changing lights in the house.  Noah was found a little while later wearing his 'night vision' glasses that he got for Christmas last year.

The Nut House

Noah and Jacob find great names for our various pursuits.  This one has garnered two different names, the Crystal House (because of all the different stones they found) and now the Nut House (because of all the pecans we picked up the other day).

Not Afraid of Heights

At Mila's birthday party the other weekend, Jacob demonstrated that he has no fear of heights so far!
