Trampoline Safety

Easter eggs and Easter basket on the trampoline, check.  Zipping the door closed, not checked.  This  seemingly minor detail became a bit more magnified after Noah flew right right through that little opening and off the trampoline not long after we got it.  On the other hand, we do have a net.  Carry on Jacob!

Red Ryder

After a quick lecture on the 2nd Amendment and another run through our lessons on safety, it was time to give our Red Ryder replica a workout.  Last weekend was perfect weather for a little BB gun fun.

While making cornbread the other week, Jacob did not like the sound of the mixer.  Didn't take him long to remedy that.  Smart kid.....safety first apparently.

Noah's Easter Party

They do a great job celebrating Easter at Hyde Park.  Noah had a party with all the other first graders, complete with an egg hunt, snacks, and, oh yeah, early dismissal.

Quarries Easter Egg Hunt

It was off to the Quarries campus on Saturday for Easter festivities including games, bouncy houses, lots of candy and an Easter egg hunt.  

Then we had a picnic down by the water with friends which was a good way to end the day.
