Fredericksburg Trip

The weekend included a trip to Fredericksburg to see Grandpa and Grandma Reeder.

Lots of work goes into 'Noah-Proofing' a room.

Next trip, Noah will have a swing just like at home.

Interestingly enough....he looked the part in Fredericksburg.

Almost Halloween

The pumpkin has been carved, the temperature just plummeted, and the candy has been purchased.  Next week.....Noah in costume, just in time for his Halloween parade at school.

A Trip to the Salt Lick for BBQ

For the trip to the Salt Lick with the Stubers, we planned ahead for a wait at the restaurant.

Noah's t-shirt only seemed fitting for the occassion.

A quite warm day for late October but nonetheless made for a great trip.

Our patience was rewarded.

Needless to say, Noah wasn't a bit finicky when the meal arrived.  See more on the trip right here.

Miscellany From MN

Staying hydrated.

Noah was a little afraid of the bear this trip but warmed up to him over the last couple days.

The Northwoods lumber jack.

A happy little lumber jack that is.

There's nothing quite like a ride in the wheelbarrow with Grandpa and Grandma.

It is quite beautiful up there.

The Cinnamon Roll

Who could blame you for loving breakfast so much when you have this staring you in the face?  Noah enjoyed the cinnamon roll but really took a liking to the pancakes, as usual.

Noah made a trip to Emmaville, MN (Population 4), for breakfast and entertained everyone at the table, especially Grandma Helmers.

Yoda

May the force be with you!

Breakfast in MN

Grandma Helmers and Noah got to spend some quality time together while the guys went out for coffee.  Report was that Noah was on his best behavior and ate well (we hear that a lot).  He is becoming a big boy for the high chair and may be moving into the booster seat in no time.

An Aggie Bonfire?

Not quite....but we are learning.

Noah has not had much of a chance to wear a stocking cap, we think he likes it.

There's that stick again!

Speak softly and carry a big stick!

Commanding his forces.

Helping Grandpa remove a tree stump.

MN Day One: Rise & Shine At 7:00AM

Although he got to bed late the night before, Noah awoke at 7:00 AM and made the trip to McDonalds with Grandpa and Uncle Curt.  It took Noah little time to get his hands on Uncle Curt's Blackberry.

It had been a few months since he had lost his last Blackberry but knew just what to do when he got it.

A boy and his Blackberry, precious.

Friends

Noah loved all the new toys over at Chris & Laines house this weekend.  He really enjoyed the car but found that without some help....he really couldn't get very far.

In strode his good buddy Levi to give him a helping hand.  That's all it took to put a smile back on his face and get him on the road again.

The Magnolia Tree....RIP

The Summer of 2011 took its toll on a number of trees and shrubs around the house and the Magnolia tree in front was first to go.

Our neighbors tell us the magnolia tree was almost 50 years old.  Noah loved playing with the big leaves it produced.

He found plenty of sticks to play with throughout the process and was as happy as can be.

Yard Work

Noah has recently grown fond of finding sticks in the yard and carrying them around everywhere.

He has also grown fond of his John Deere lawn mower.

He almost looks like a natural at mowing the yard.  Little does he know what the future holds!

The Cash Register

Quite often the oldest toys are the best toys, as in the case of the cash register.  He likes playing with the coins and is now figuring out how to put them in and open the cash drawer.  He sure does enjoy chewing on the coins though too.  It does seem a little odd that this thing looks like a one-armed-bandit though.
