Wisteria RIP

The year was 2009 and we had barely moved into the new house.  The arbor was built and the wisteria was planted shortly thereafter.

It performed quite well for a number of years but required a lot of pruning due to the rapid growth.

Then came 2018 and it never came out in the spring.  You will be missed.

Those Didn't Last Long

Noah and Dad got going at 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning to go practice baseball before Jacob's 10:00 game.  Noah regretted not getting the Bear Claw and decided he will go with three donuts next time including the Bear Claw.

Memo to Noah.....We were driving to baseball the other day and this song came on and you asked the question, "What does come to the table mean"?  After a long explanation, you said you had been learning about similes and metaphors in school this week and that you 'got it'.  After a long 20 second pregnant pause, you said, "I'm glad they play a lot of christian songs on the radio".  Right On Noah, Right on.  Now, if this song catches on, we may not hear Jacob's favorite, 10,000 Reasons, for the 100,000th time!

Geology

At the Crystal House, the boys found a whole host of various rocks, all with different shapes, textures, colors, etc.  If their parents had ever taken Geology in college, we would have more to share on their find!!!
